The following is an excerpt from Sunday's (3/17/19) sermon delivered by Pastor Walker of FVCC. Let it minister encouragement and guidance to you as you go through the week.
Living in the Abundance of the Blessing of the Lord
Today, God wants you to stop worrying and stressing about the uncertainties of how, when and where regarding situations and circumstances in your life. God said, “I am your Jehovah-Jireh, the supernatural provider of the Blessing of the Lord; you are the promised seed of Abraham. I will bless you and you shall be a blessing”.
The favor of the “Blessing of the Lord” will bring you into God’s supernatural provision of abundance.
PROVERBS 10:22 (KJV)
The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
When God is taking you to your land of abundance, He does not want you to go back to Egypt where He delivered you from because your blessing is NOT in Egypt; your blessing and abundance is where God is taking you to.
GENESIS 26:1-3 (KJV)
1And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.
2And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
3Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father
As God increases you with favor and abundance, envy will attack you. You just continue to have faith in God, do what He tells you to do and you will prosper!
GENESIS 26:12-14 (KJV)
12Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. 13And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: 14For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.
